2025 Elder Candidates

Mark Tucker | Scott Davenport | Tony Franklin

The elders are excited to present Mark, Scott, and Tony as new elder candidates to our Colonial Family. Serving as an elder at Colonial is to serve the church in leadership of the overall vision and future direction of the church, ensuring our teachings and practices reflect accurate biblical theology, provide accountability to staff leadership, and so much more. To be considered for eldership, one must be a member of Colonial for at least two years and meet the character qualities from 1 Timothy 3:1-13.

According to the Colonial Church bylaws the current elders nominate new elder candidates after a prayerful and robust interview process before presenting them to the church. After presenting them to the church body, the members of the church have 30 days to provide feedback to the elders about the elder candidates’ nominations. A member vote to add these candidates to the elder team will be held on August 31st during the Sunday morning worship gathering.

Thank you for being a part of this process and a part of this family!
