Child Dedication Meeting

Child Dedication at Colonial Church is more than an event…it’s an opportunity for you to take some time at the beginning of your parenting journey to think about what will have the greatest impact on your child’s future.  We want to celebrate with you, and encourage you as parents.

Whether this is your 1st child, or you have added to a growing family, we want to celebrate with you!  Join us for an informational meeting to chat about what that looks like for your family, and how to involve more people to speak into your child’s life. We’ll also explore what it means to look farther along the road on your parenting journey to start with the end in mind when it comes to their relationship with Jesus. 

The meeting will take place right after our Sunday gathering ends, in Building 242.

Summer is almost here and our students (completing 6th-12th grade) are headed to camp! It's a great time to take students out of their normal environment and completely surround them with God's goodness and other God-fearing people while building memories that can last a lifetime!

Baptism is how we publicly declare that we have made the decision to follow Jesus. We are following the example Jesus gives us from Matthew 3:13-16 and showing our commitment to Him through this symbol of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

And we want to celebrate together this life-changing decision with you!

Leading up to our baptism celebration, we want to invite anyone interested in getting baptized to our Baptism Class. In this class we will walk through what baptism is and why we do it as well as what you can expect when you are getting baptized.

In order to be baptized, you must attend this short class.

Our next Baptism Class will be Sunday, November 24th, immediately following our 10am gathering. 6th grade through adults will meet in the Living Room (behind the coffee bar) and kids 5th grade and below in Building 242.
