Moving from Kids Ministry into Student Ministry can be a big transition.
A new year in 6th grade brings a whole new level of freedom and responsibility. For many kids, this can be quite an adjustment. At Colonial, we created The Bridge to help all incoming 6th graders take on the next chapter in their lives confidently.
August 7th From 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
We invite all new 6th grade students to join us Wednesday night, August 7th, for an hour designed to strip back some of Student Ministry’s Wednesday night programming to let them discover a new flow of gathering in a new place on campus so they can jump in ready! They will play some games, have a Bible study, and experience their small group discussion time in a way they can come to expect for Wednesday nights in the future. We want to invite you to our Student Ministry Kickoff & Parent Night the following Wednesday August 14th at 6:15. Not only do we want our students to feel comfortable, we want you to know what your student will experience and have an opportunity to get to know their leaders. The parents will take on the students in some games, experience a bit of what the students will get every Wednesday with teaching and small group discussions, as well as meet our Student Ministry leaders who are pouring into the students lives every week.
