Child Dedication at Colonial Church is more than an event…it’s an opportunity for you to take some time at the beginning of your parenting journey to think about what will have the greatest impact on your child’s future.  We want to celebrate with you, and encourage you as parents.

Whether this is your 1st child, or you have added to a growing family, we want to celebrate with you!  Join us for an informational meeting to chat about what that looks like for your family, and how to involve more people to speak into your child’s life. We’ll also explore what it means to look farther along the road on your parenting journey to start with the end in mind when it comes to their relationship with Jesus.

Leading up to our baptism celebration, we want to invite anyone interested in getting baptized to our Baptism Class. In this class we will walk through what baptism is and why we do it as well as what you can expect when you are getting baptized.

In order to be baptized, you must attend this short class.

Our next Baptism Class will be Sunday, August 25th, immediately following our 10am gathering. 6th grade through adults will meet in the Living Room (behind the coffee bar) and kids 5th grade and below in Building 242.

Every year we choose to take the last week of the year to rest and look forward toward the new year. As we don’t gather together, take some time to plan your rest in the coming new year. Happy New Year!

Contributions made on or before December 31st may be eligible for a 2023 tax deduction. Contributions must be postmarked, delivered, or completed by end of the day. Thank you for giving this year!
