At Colonial Church, we believe that we are called to become more like Jesus, but we also know that change doesn’t just happen. Our discipleship pathway is designed to help do just that! Whether you’re a new believer or been a part of church for years, myDiscovery is a great way to get into community and really step into the calling God has on your life!

Discover myColonial is the first step in getting connected and the perfect opportunity to engage with our leadership, get to know what Colonial is all about, and get an idea of what it looks like to grow as a follower of Jesus. Childcare and lunch is provided for those that register!

Are you seeking a deeper connection with others, a sense of community, or simply wondering how to take the next steps in your spiritual growth?
Finding my Connection (Rooted) is more than a study; it's a way to connect, grow, and start your spiritual journey alongside others. We are not meant to do life alone and this experience allows you to deepen your faith in the context of community. You have a unique story, in this study you will learn to appreciate your personal experiences and the unique wisdom they carry. Finding my Connection (Rooted) is where relationships blossom.
Discover how to be open, and build a family who will encourage, challenge, support, and celebrate with you. You will experience discipleship rhythms and reflect on how they impact your life. Step 2 includes childcare, the Rooted workbook, and a graduation dinner.

Steps 3 and 4 are where we give you tools for your discipleship toolbox. Each week we will gather around the table as a family of committed disciples to learn more about who we are as followers of Jesus and how to deepen our relationship with God:
In the first six weeks, we will focus on building your character by learning about spiritual disciplines, how to hear the voice of God and how to study scripture in a deeper way.
In the second six weeks, we shift to learning who we were made to be and how to step into our calling. We will discover our spiritual gifts and how to establish a rhythm like Jesus.
This study is an experience that will include informational, apprenticeship, and immersion style learning. Steps 3 & 4 include dinner each week, a myDiscovery study binder, three books, and a half day retreat. The cost breakdown is about $15 per week.

As the final step in our discipleship pathway, you will have an opportunity to put what you have learned in Steps 2 through 4 into practice.
