We believe that every child is created in the image of God with a divine purpose and plan for their journey.

So we create age appropriate, safe, loving and fun environments that make it easy for them to find and follow Jesus. It is very important to us to partner with parents throughout this journey by providing tools, resources and shared experiences. Colonial Kids is divided into 3 main groups to best meet the needs and development of the ages.

first time At Colonial Kids?

SONSHINE LANE: Birth - 2 years
In Sonshine Lane children will discover who God is. In the baby and toddler rooms our teams provide a safe and loving environment for the children while praying over them and their families. In the 2 year old room the children learn about God through interactive stories, fun songs and activities.

CROSSTOWN : 3 Years - kindergarten
In Crosstown children will explore who God is. They will learn more about God from live storytellers, engaging stories on video, worship songs and intentional small group activities..

KONNECT : 1st grade - 5th grade
In Konnect, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud and good leaders always care! The focus is our small group environment where kids connect with trusted leaders and a community of friends. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him and to build friendships that will last.

Konnect+ is designed to reinforce and build on the lesson taught in Konnect on the weekend. Each Wednesday night from September through April in Konnect+ kids will take part in worship as well their own age appropriate small group. In Konnect+ kids will rotate with their small group for fun activities like crafts, games, snack and Bible review.

first time to colonial?

where do I go?
Colonial Kids meets in Building 242 on the Colonial Church campus directly across from The Café. We will meet your family, check in your child and lead them to their age-appropriate room.

checking in
On your first visit we will ask for the following information: Family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child. This information is entered into our database to maintain our secure check-in system and will help us ensure your child has an excellent experience.

All Colonial Kids volunteers pass a background check and we employ off duty police officers as well as our own security team to ensure your child’s safety. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up and a paging system for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship service.
